Rob & Shelia have been trimming/shoeing my horses now for about 8 years. I could not be more pleased. Their knowledge of horse anatomy and how to trim/shoe each horse in a manner that allows the animal to perform at its best is amazing. Their continued education and years of experience are very evident. Yet they are happy to discuss all plans and any concerns on each horse with the owner. In the case of my horses lamness issues they are also wonderful at working with my vet in establishing a treatment plan. Best of all my horses love him. Everything they do demonstrates their commitment and compassion to bettering horses through farrier work.

I’ve know Rob & Shelia Palmer since 1996. In that time I’ve seen him work miracles on horses that had otherwise been given up on. They have an extreme sense of dedication and caring towards every individual horse in their personal and clients care. Rob & Shelia are always seeking to expand their knowledge in order to offer the best treatment plan needed for every horse and owner. Nothing sugar coated, straight up honest advice which I find very refreshing in this day and age. They also follow the philosophy that the hoof directly affects the entire rest of the horses body and proper consistent balance is a key issue in keeping the whole horse sound and healthy.
” No Hoof, No Horse! ”
My gelding was very close to being put down from being foundered and severe neglect by his previous owner when we had Rob take over his case. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him but he’s now up and active out in the pasture versus being stall bound 24/7.
